Engraver Ivan Pozhalostin (1837–1909) as a portrait master

The article is devoted to the portrait artwork of engraver on copper I.P. Pozhalostin. It focuses his works 1860–1880s, created first under protection Academy Arts, then for Society Encouragement Artists, publishers books and magazines, collectors. This a whole gallery Russian faces, from poet Nikolay Nekrasov Empress Maria Feodorovna.
